Partners are organizations that have agreed to assist the Angel Ramos Foundation with the development of OptiSchool by providing services AT NO COST to the foundation. Examples of partners are:

Sequoia Charter School for the Deaf

Located in Mesa, AZ, Sequoia Charter School for the Deaf is a private charter school for deaf and hard of hearing children. The students at Sequoia are in a mainstreamed environment. They have the option of taking classes with their hearing colleagues or self-contained classes with their deaf colleagues. Most students at Sequoia take half or more of their academic classes with their hearing colleagues.
Sequoia's students and teachers will be working with the Angel Ramos Foundation to develop, tape, and review the instructional lessons. The videotapes will be sent to Western States College where Bob Sewell and Rick Widmer will put the lessons into the OptiSchool platform so that people can access the lessons via the internet.

Western States College (WSC)

Located in Gooding, ID, WSC is a postsecondary institution that focuses on the arts, specifically television production and editing. WSC also provides training for young adults referred to them by the juvenile justice system. WSC will be providing the Angel Ramos Foundation with all of the equipment needed to videotape the lessons, as well as the manpower and site for videotaping.

ASL Services of Orlando, FL

Located in Kissammee, FL, ASL Services is the premier interpreter referral agency that provides tri-lingual interpreting services in Florida and throughout the country. ASL Services will be translating OptiSchool materials and lesson modules into Spanish.
