Welcome to OptiSchool.
OptiSchool is an instructional tool developed by the Angel
Ramos Foundation in partnership with various organizations.
OptiSchool's primary goal is to help Deaf and hard of hearing
children read at grade level and be academically successful.
Although OptiSchool was developed primarily for Deaf and
hard of hearing children, there are many other benefits:
1. OptiSchool can be used
by parents, family members, and anyone who wants to learn
American Sign Language to better communicate with, and interact
with, Deaf and hard of hearing children and adults.
2. OptiSchool helps parents
learn sign language at the same time they are working with
their children. This helps parents bond with their children
better.
3. OptiSchool helps hearing
children learn sign language so they can communicate with
their deaf and hard of hearing peers.
OptiSchool is a FREE website and there is no cost to use
these instructional lessons. OptiSchool is funded by donations/sponsorships/advertisements
from organizations and individuals like yourself. If the
OptiSchool lessons benefit you and/or your child, please

The only requirement to
use OptiSchool is that you log in and provide us with some
information about yourself. This information will NEVER
be shared with marketers. We need this information for statistical
purposes and when we apply for grants/sponsorships/advertisements.
